Well, it’s now officially part of the Safari Outpost family! Pieter and Carin Janse van Rensburg (yes, the same awesome couple behind the original Safari Outpost) have taken over SA Meat Shops and given it a fresh new look and name — but kept all the things that made it special.

The shop’s been fully rebranded as Safari Outpost, and it’s every bit as lekker as the original. You’ll still find all your favourites — Ouma rusks, Mrs Ball’s, Aromat, chutneys, spices, frozen pies, biltong, droëwors, you name it. And yes, the droëwors is just as legendary as at their other location.

Same people. Same vibes. Same commitment to top-notch service and good prices.

This isn’t just a second branch — it’s an expansion of something that already works so well. Pieter, Carin, and the team are building a little Safari Outpost empire in Calgary, and we’re 100% here for it.
