I’m Jade, a South African (turned Canadian), and co-founder of Two Oceans Ventures.

My husband and I originally came to Canada in 2019, on what was meant to be a two-year secondment. That two years somehow turned into a toddler, a Scottish Terrier, a house… and very firm roots. Like many South Africans who’ve made the move, what started as an adventure became home.

At Two Oceans Ventures, my business partner and I are looking to buy and operate one great Canadian business for the long term. We’re not private equity and we’re not looking for a quick flip. We want to step in personally, protect what’s been built, support the team, and grow the business thoughtfully over time.

Many of the owners we speak to are at a turning point with retirement on the horizon, children choosing different paths, or simply wanting more time back. We offer a hands-on, human transition - not a corporate takeover.
