Esme and Eric Gloster are thrilled to bring their culinary passion to Creston with the launch of Bindoya Meats and Treats, a family-run business that opened its doors on Saturday, June 17 2023.
At Bindoya, you’ll find a mouthwatering selection of handcrafted sausages and traditional air-dried cured meats, all made in-store. From chicken sosaties (South African-style kebabs) to their specialty: boerewors, the much-loved South African sausage, there’s something for everyone.
The Glosters, originally from South Africa, are proud to offer classic favourites like biltong, droëwors, and chili bites, all air-dried on-site for unmatched freshness and flavour. Their products reflect generations of South African culinary tradition, now made with care in Creston.
For Eric, opening a shop like Bindoya has been a lifelong dream. A seasoned sausage maker, he’s been perfecting his recipes for years. With Esme’s background as a food scientist and product developer, the couple brings both heart and skill to their new venture.
The Glosters are working hard to expand their offerings, including a commercial kitchen, pop-up restaurant, and charcuterie lunch boxes—perfect for on-the-go meals or special gatherings.
“Beyond fulfilling Eric’s dream, we truly want to give back to Creston,” Esme shares. “We’re excited to serve this wonderful community, offer something unique, and collaborate with other local businesses.”
